Youth News – Week of July 23, 2017
Dear Parents and Students,
For those of you who went to Blue Haven last week, I hope it went well. Summer camp is a great time to get excited about what the LORD Lord is doing! I hope that all of you allow God to use the things learned this last week in molding your future. I also know that some other students will be going to Blue Haven for these next two weeks. Please pray for God’s will to be accomplished in their lives.
For those of you who are around, we will be going to Silverton Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to help them with their VBS. This is the 5th year in a row for us to go out to help with their event. I know the church in Silverton is extremely grateful for the support you guys offer. We will leave from University at 4:30 and will be back around 9:30.
School is around the corner! I know that reading that statement probably makes some of you cringe a little. Others (parents) may be overflowing with joy. Whatever perspective you have, make sure you embrace the last few weeks of summer. Use the time to bless someone in ways you may not be able to during the school year or spend quality time with your family before more chaos begins. Whatever you do, make sure you are seeking to glorify our Lord!
