Thank You – Tim & Aime Myers
Dear University Family,
Greetings from Uvalde. We hope 2018 is starting out well for you. I can’t say that we are settled but we are slowly getting there. Tola starts school in a small town outside of Uvalde on Wednesday (Jan. 3), Tim preaches his first official sermon for Getty Street on Sunday (Jan. 7), and we will hopefully close on our house here on Thursday (Jan. 11). Even with everything going on we miss you very much. Yesterday might have been the first day that Noah didn’t say that she wanted to go back to Canyon, TX. During the Sunday morning Bible class before Christmas, Aime flipped open her Bible to find a picture of Noah with one of our youth girls and she burst out crying. Elisha doesn’t know what to do with all his energy now that he doesn’t have his buddies to go “crazy” with. Tola is ready to get into our new house so that we can put our print of “How Great Thou Art” up. He still doesn’t know how everyone knows it’s his favorite song. Ha ha! We still haven’t gotten over the amazing send-off that you gave us. So many kind words, special gifts, yummy food, a very “green” blessing tree, and heartwarming fellowship. Thank you! We love you and will always be grateful for the blessing of being raised by you!
